Cathey Louise (Riffle) Davis

Cathey Louise Davis, 67 of Rosemont, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at United Hospital in Bridgeport. She was born in Simpson, November 25, 1955, daughter of the late Arlie Riffle, Sr. and Virginia Taylor Riffle. Cathey worked at the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, crafts, making dolls, road sales, and spending time with family.  She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, James Davis whom she married on August 7, 1983; four children, Nick Duley, Virginia Pierce, Gordon Bays, Melissa Franson and Charles; two grandchildren, Makaila and James; one sister, Susie Mc Nemar; one brother, Arlie Riffle Jr; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Cathey was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Bays; one brother, Carl Riffle; son-in-law, Floyd Pierce; and one sister, Frances Kraft.   Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 3:00 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 6:00PM with Pastor Lois Sandy officiating.
