Carolyn Sue Neubauer, née Westfall, of Thornton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 17th 2020 surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her father William Westfall, her mother Ellaoween “Peggy” Taylor and stepfather Warren Taylor, and granddaughter Amber West.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Robert Neubauer, her two daughters Kimberly Neubauer and Micki Neubauer Runner and husband Jason Runner, three grandchildren Lewis Stevens and girlfriend Crystal Johnson, William Peter Neubauer and boyfriend José Sierra Solá, Angel Nestor and fiancé Brian Wilson, and two great-grandchildren Zylas Robert Neubauer and River Wilson.
Additionally, she is survived by her three siblings Nancy Howell, Linda Hogue, and James Taylor and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sue loved to sing and dance, and as many can attest, owned every stage she stepped foot on. She loved to sit on her front porch and watch her beloved hummingbirds eat and loved to play video games with her family. She brought light and joy into every room that she entered, and always greeted every person she met with a smile and warmth.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to hospice care for all of their assistance in the past months.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., at the Blueville Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall on Route 119 in Grafton. The family requests that all attendees follow state guidelines to wear a mask at the gathering.
