Carole Eileen Ickes

Carole Eileen Ickes, 79 of Grafton passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Taylor Healthcare Center with her family by her side.  She was born July 1, 1944 in Vineland, NJ, daughter of the late David and Alice Swydersky Morgan. Carole graduated Vineland High School, Class of 1962. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting dinner bells, working in her flowers and gardening. Carole liked going fishing and cookouts in the mountains. Her love was time spent with family especially the grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Kenneth Irvin Ickes; three children, Kimberly Ann Buzzelli and husband Albert, Mount Clare, David Kenneth Ickes and wife Lisa, Belington; Kathleen Michelle McDaniel and husband Bert, Grafton; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, JoAnn Moir and husband Albert, Vineland, NJ; twin sister, Claire Vasile and husband Louis, Pitts Grove, NJ, Ruth Ayars, Glenn Mills, PA; several nieces and nephews.
