Bruce Lee Green, 79, of Flemington passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at home with his family by his side. He was born January 17, 1945, son of the late, John L. Green and Martha Boggess Heater and step mother, Luvina Billie Green. And step father, Sonny Heater. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Louise Smallwood Green, February 25, 2020.
Bruce graduated from Flemington High School, Class of 1963. Bruce worked many years at Napa Auto Parts in Fairmont, was a machinist and his claim to fame was working on Volkswagens. He enjoyed tinkering around the house fixing things. He liked working in the yard and farm sharing their produce with family, friends and neighbors. Bruce was a talker who never came across a stranger. He liked being in the outdoors where he enjoyed camping, being along the riverbanks fishing and going hunting. He was a life member of the Clarksburg area Model Railroad Club and a faithful member of the Union Baptist Church. Bruce loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a kind, giving person who was always helping others.
Bruce is survived by one son, David Bruce Green, and one daughter, Charlotte Virginia Green, both of Flemington; three sisters, Mary Jo Coffman, Denise Adams (David), and Becky Heater (Larry); one brother, Rodney Green (Jeri); a favorite cousin, Donna Kester; a special nephew that he helped raise, Jimmy Smallwood; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife Bruce is preceded in death by, a sister, Shirley Fox, and a foster brother, Robert Kester.

Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 3:00-7:00PM and on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 10:00AM until the hour of the funeral at 1:00PM with Rev. Jerome Lewis and Pastor Chris Stanley officiating. Interment will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, in Webster.
