Billy Gene Lyons

Billy Gene Lyons, 69 of Grafton passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born July 30, 1951 in Grafton, son of the late Charles Junior and Marjorie Gobel Lyons. Billy is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Peggy Saunders Lyons whom he married June 16, 1972.

He graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1970. Billy worked for the City of Grafton, Rex-Hide and McDonalds. He enjoyed working on old cars and lawn mowers with his grandson Wade, and was the high light of his day. He loved spending time with his family and going out to eat.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Lyons; two grandchildren, Wade Moyer and wife Shawna, and Brittany Weber; one great-grandson, Liam Moyer all of Grafton, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins,

In addition to his parents, Billy he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Koton; two brothers, Charles R. Lyons, and Robert Lyons.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Tuesday, December 15 ,2020 from 2-7 PM with proper distancing and face mask required. Viewing will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:00AM until the funeral hour at 11:00AM with Pastor Chuck Jefferies officiating. Interment will follow at Bluemont Cemetery.
