Billie Mildred Farance

Billie Mildred Farance, 83 of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Taylor Health Care Center. She was born in Alphoretta, KY, on January 7, 1940, daughter of the late Robert Lambert, and Thelma Miller Arthur. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar D. Farance on June 20, 2005.

Billie built on her love for the arts by attending art school. Billie was a member of the Grafton Assembly of God Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for over thirty-two years. She relaxed while reading a good book or working with her flowers. Billie liked cooking especially trying out new recipes on her family. She loved the time she spent with her friends and family making special memories with each of them. Billie’s greatest joy was being with family and she thought of each of them as her greatest blessings.

Billie is survived by one son, Robert D. Farance (Lisa), three daughters, Laura Jane Shahan (George), Rebecca Jean Stevens (Robert), Melanie Lynn Hovatter (Robert); twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Myrna Jean Bolyard and Juanita Duvall.

In addition to her parents and husband, Billie is preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Ruth Knotts, two brothers, Robert Lambert and John Delbert Arthur. 

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00AM with  Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
