Betty Ella McFarland 92, Grafton passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the Taylor County Health Care Center. She was born April 24, 1932 in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late James and Inez Fairley.
Betty was a homemaker and liked to be with her family and friends. She loved to attend church at the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, reading the Bible and visiting with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling. Betty had a favorite cat Twigg who was her furry companion.
Betty is survived by one son, Brian Fairley; and three grandsons, Benjamin (Ben) Fairley, David A Fairley Jr., and Max Fairley; one granddaughter, Savannah Holt (Eric).
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by two husbands, Hoy Duckworth and Earl McFarland; one son, David Allen Fairley Sr.; one granddaughter, Crystal Fairley; three brothers, Howard Fairley, Clyde Fairley, and James Fairley; four sisters, Pearl Williams, Inez Kester, Naomi Boylen, and Edna Fairley; several nieces and nephews.
