Barbara Ann Terrant, 68 of Grafton passed on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born in Oakland, MD, on March 25, 1958, daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Mamie Katherine Sines Terrant.
Barbara found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of life. As a devoted homemaker, she cherished being at home, where she lovingly welcomed family and friends and created a place filled with warmth, comfort, and laughter. She especially looked forward to celebrating Halloween, enjoyed watching professional wrestling, and found peace in life's quiet moments, often sitting on her porch watching the birds and taking in the beauty around her.
Above all, Barbara treasured the time she spent with her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose love and laughter filled her heart. The memories they shared together will remain a lasting source of comfort and will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Barbara is survived by four children, Robin Warren, Katherine Shiflett (Carl), Joseph Lewis (Katrina), Jeffrey Latorre; seventeen grandchildren, Katrina Lipscomb (Aaron), Samantha Shiflett, Michael Shiflett, Dominic Shiflett, Lilly Shiflett, Brandon Hewitt, Destiny Moats, Dakota Lewis, Devon Shuttlesworth, Brent, Ashlely Kirk (Gage), Tania Knick (Duane), Allena Lewis, Logan Lewis, Megan Lewis, Cory Lewis, and Alicia Latorre; twenty great grandchildren; Barbara life long Partner, Ronald Baker, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Latorre and Nina Fisher; three brothers, Joseph Terrant, Anthony Terrant and Sebastian Terrant.
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Wednesday July 1, 2026 from 3:00PM until 6:30PM the hour of the funeral, with Rev. James Bowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her care fund on her Memorial page.
