Barbara Ann (Beverlin) Clokey of Baltimore, MD passed away on January 23, 2023 at Oak Crest Long Term Care. She was born on May 28, 1928 in Grafton, WV, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Blaney) Beverlin. She was the granddaughter of George Blaney, the artist who painted the murals in the sanctuary of the Mother’s Day Shrine.
She was retired from a secretarial position with the Baltimore County police department.
She is survived by her daughters Diane Evering (Ed) of Seneca SC, Deborah Kuemmel (John) of Baltimore MD, and brother Harry Beverlin of Lynchburg, VA; grandchildren : John A. Kuemmel, Douglas Evering (Lea), Denise Broderick (Scott), Amy Evering; great grandchildren: Jack, Thomas, Lilly and Leah Kuemmel, Delaney Evering, Emily and Morgan Broderick.
In addition to her husband George Clokey and parents, Mrs. Clokey was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Beverlin and David Beverlin and sister Hilda Cavell.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, West Virginia on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
