Arlene Mayle, 93, of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on October 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on September 13, 1932, in Barbour County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Esker and Laura Mayle.
Arlene was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lincoln Mayle, on December 24, 1957, and together they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
She will be dearly missed by her four loving daughters: Jeanetta “Nettie” Perko (Ken), Lois Mayle, Robin (Dwayne) Perry, and Tammy Snyder. Arlene was a proud grandmother of seven, especially close to Brendon, Brent, and Bryce, and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Mayle; grandsons Brandon and Bradley; her brothers Harlan (Evelyn), Carrol “Jimmy” B., Leo, Rosco “Jack” (Emma), Lemuel (Helen), and Robert (Vada) Mayle; and her sisters Cozetta “Kate” (Richard) Collins, Josephine “Jose” (Elwood) Kennedy, and Zelma “Jean” (Houston) Mayle.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Compassus Hospice for the kindness, care, and compassion shown to Arlene and her family during her final days.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Dan Plemmons officiating. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery in Barbour County.
