Annetta Green Obituary

Annetta Louise Green, 76 of Flemington passed away on Tuesday, February  25, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her loving family by  her side. She was born March 28, 1943 in Grafton, and the daughter of the late Virgil “Teaberry” and James Edith Boyd Smallwood. Annetta is survived by her husband of fifty two years, Bruce Lee Green, they were married March 25, 1967.

Annetta was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Simpson, she loved gardening and last year she put her garden out using her walker. Annetta collected pictures of local and family history and was a graduate of Grafton High School, the Class of 1961. She enjoyed meeting with her friends from her graduation class every month. After the death of her mother Annetta at the age of 16 took on the responsibility of raising her brother Jamie with the help of her beloved Aunt Maxine Harvey. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and provided child care for friends and neighbors. Annetta was active in her church and enjoyed helping with the food pantry, she always enjoyed helping people.

Annetta is survived by two children, David Bruce Green, and Charlotte Virginia Green both of Flemington, three brothers, Jack Smallwood, David Smallwood,  and partner Liz, James Smallwood all of Cleveland, Ohio, and her dog “Little Guy”, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Georgia Smallwood and Carol Smallwood.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Friday, February, 28, 2020 from 3-8PM and on Saturday, February, 29, 2020 from 9:00AM until the funeral hour at 11:00AM with Rev.
