Annabelle Jane (Pitzer) Mason

Annabelle Jane Pitzer Mason, 87, of Unicoi, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Greens of Erwin Healthcare Center in Erwin, Tennessee.  She was born in Grafton, West Virginia on April 3, 1938, the youngest of three daughters of Carl Wilbur and Gertrude Elizabeth Pitzer.

Annabelle is survived by one son Brian (Kathleen) Mason, a granddaughter Grace Mason, and grandson Daniel Mason, all of Yorktown, Virginia.  She is also survived by two nephews, John (Kelly) Feazell of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Bill Feazell of Palmetto, Florida.

Annabelle was a graduate of Grafton High School Class of 1956. After marriage to Troxell Olin Mason, Jr. in 1963, the family moved to several places throughout the Southern US due to his work with the USDA Forest Service.

She moved to Tennessee in 1984, where she remained until her passing.  She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Johnson City, Tennessee where she volunteered in the food pantry. She also enjoyed her time tending her small flower garden.  She lived life on her own terms in following her Christian faith.

A graveside service will be held at Woodsdale Memorial Park, Grafton on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:00AM with Pastor Heiney officiating. It is requested for those attending to please meet at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton at 10:30AM to follow in procession to the cemetery.
