Andrew "Andy" Joel Sturm

Andrew “Andy” Joel Sturm, 61 of Grafton, passed away on July 6, 2024 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV. He was born in Clarksburg, June 29, 1963, son of the late Lowell Thomas and Mary Margaret Moscar Sturm.

Andy was a graduate of North Fort Myers High School, Class of 1981.  He worked many years at Elkview Builders as a painter. Andy was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cornhole, baseball and softball. Andy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and WVU sports fan.

Andy is survived by three children, Brittany Currey (Taylor), Destin FL, Andrew Joel Sturm ll (Miranda), Alva FL, and Jacob Cole Sturm (Jamie), Fort Myers FL; and their mother Darla Cutler, Fort Myers FL; three grandchildren, Stetson, Nevaeh and Jayce, two sisters, Leisa Jones (Jeff), Ann Gerkin (Steve); three brothers, Tom Sturm (Jill), Frank Sturm (DeeAnn), and Matt Sturm (Hank Soutter); several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Beal.

Friends and family will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 1:00PM until the time of the funeral service 6:00PM with Pastor Orville Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Reception will follow at the St. Augustine Social Center.
