Allan Ray Myers

Allan Ray Myers, 61 of Grafton passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023. He was born in Grafton, January 26, 1962 son of the late James Henry and Loretta Jean Poling Myers. Allan is survived by his wife Delores Beavers Myers whom he married October 5, 1981 spending over forty-one years together.

Allan was a man who really enjoyed the outdoors. He spent a lot of time along a riverbed relaxing while fishing. Allan always liked the challenge of going out to get the first deer of the season. He enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. Allan never knew a stranger and could talk to people as if he knew them forever. He loved his family and all the time he spent with each of them especially his grandchildren.

Allan is survived by three children, Michael P. Myers, Wendy L. Poling and Allan R. Poling (Norma), three grandchildren Colby, Issac, and Caden, three sisters, Charlotte Shahan  (Gary), Cindy Shumaker (Tom), Peggy Reed (Warren) two brothers, Terry Myers (Wanda), James Myers (Gail), one sister-in-law Barb Smith (Henry), one brother-in-law Chuck Beavers (Virginia).and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Allan is preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Moyer and Barbara Berry.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Friday, April 21, 2023 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and on Saturday April 22, 2023 from  9:00AM until the funeral hour 11:00AM . with Pastor Jimmy  Johnson officiating.
