Alice (Haller) Jones

Alice Jones, 73 of Grafton passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Grafton, May 13, 1951, daughter of the late George Isaac and Edith Clevenger Haller, Alice is survived by her husband John “Casey” Jones whom she married on August 29, 1986 spending more than thirty-eight years together.

Alice graduated from Grafton High School, class of 1969. She worked many years serving the community at the Blueville Bank of Grafton, North Central Housing and the Rosewood Nursing Center where she retired as a book keeper. Alice was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She was a member and president for “TOPS” over thirty years.  Alice enjoyed going to Virginia Beach and spending time with her family.  She especially loved the time going to watch the grandkids doing their activities or just spending the day with them. Alice had a special cat (Wish Bone) that spent lots of time with and enjoyed greatly.

Alice is survived by daughter, Teresa Bolyard (John); son, John Isaac Jones (Sarah); daughter, Megan E. Jones (Kevin); four grandchildren, Kyle Bolyard, Logan Jones, Arabella Jones, and Kasin Poling; two sisters, Ellen Hose, and Georgia Poling; one brother, Johnny Haller (Brenda.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by, one sister Linda Kay Greynolds.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 3PM until 7PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Mike Willis officiating.
