Alberta Grace Windhorst

Alberta Grace Windhorst, 86 of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born February 8, 1937, in Kingwood, daughter of the late George and Lillie M. Broddock Weber. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Wayne Satterfield and Harvey Windhorst.

Alberta worked many years as a house keeper at the Heldreth in Grafton, at the Tygart Lake Lodge and retired from Rosewood Nursing home with twenty years of service. She made lots friends who became like family to her while working. Alberta enjoyed sitting on the porch while watching her hummingbirds, and watching tv with her family. She loved her family and all the time she spent with each of them making memories.

Alberta is survived by one daughter, Loretta Freeland, two sons, Thomas Satterfield (Maxine), Timothy Satterfield (Jennifer), several grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one brother, Gerald Weber, and one daughter in-law, Traci Satterfield

In addition to her parents and husband, Alberta was preceded in death by, one son, Bryan K. Satterfield, six brothers, Harry Weber, Charles Weber, George Weber ll, Archie Weber, Paul Weber, Robert Weber, and one sister, Roberta Weber.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00PM with Pastor Orville Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Gladesville cemetery.
