Wanda Rosalee (Bolner) Hayes

Wanda  Rosalee Hayes, 87 of Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Grafton City Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Rowlesburg, WV July 30, 1930, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Edna Auvil Bolner. She was preceded in death by her husband,  Harold E. Hayes on July 29, 2002. They were married and married fifty six years.

She retired from Walker China, Bedford, OH. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, being outdoors, and loved being with her family.

Wanda is survived by two children, Twila Smith and husband Herb, Volant, PA.  Charles Hayes and wife Cindy, Windham, OH;  two  grandchildren, Brenda Britt, Melissa Curry; three great grandchildren, Brandon Zavara, Savannah Britt, Charles Britt; a special nephew and niece, Junior and Rose Hays; special friend, Jeannnie Knotts, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Smith, Shirley Hayes, and Thelma Pilson.

Friends may call at the Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton,Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4-8PM. Funeral services will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home on Friday March 16, 2018 at 11:00AM with Rev.David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at the WV.National Cemetery.
