Sarah "Renie" Irene (Kirby) Arnold

Sarah Irene “Renie” Arnold, 71 of Grafton, received her angels wings, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Grafton City Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Grafton, on January 4, 1948. A daughter of the late Ledford F. “Sam” and Josephine C. Gelhausen Kirby, and is survived by her husband Jimmy Arnold, they were married July 23, 1973.

Sarah graduated from Grafton High School, was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church.   She worked at the Bread of Life Mission, and was always volunteering. She was a former employee of the Baby World in Grafton.

She is also survived by four step-children, Lisa Patterson and husband Roger, David Arnold and wife Yong,   John Arnold and wife Sherry and Eric Arnold all of Grafton; seven grandchildren, Adam, Sonya, Laura, Kara, Brandon, Miranda, and Hannah; three great grandchildren, Trevor, Trey, and TJ; three sisters, Florence Boyles, Grafton, Mona Moore and husband David, Grafton, and Betty Stansbury, Frederick, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther   Shroyer, Kathleen Zinn; one brother Harold F. Kirby; and one grandson Jake Patterson.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from 2-8PM and on Wednesday October 23, 2019 from 9am until the funeral hour at 11:00am, with Rev Judith Flynn and Rev Jimmy Johnson officiating.  Internment at the Arnold Cemetery.
