Russell Berlyn “Buster” Poling, 68 of Grafton passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at River Oak Nursing Home, Clarksburg. He was born July 25, 1949 in Grafton son of the late John Leo and Thelma Williams Poling.
Russell was a Veteran of the United States Marines, 1967 graduate of Grafton High School, was a truck driver and mechanic for several trucking company his last employer was 3 rivers iron, Fairmont, was a life member of the American Legion Post # 12, VFW #3081 and NRA.
He is survived by two sisters, Vickie Sapp and husband Donald, Grafton Loretta Burbridge, Morgantown, four nieces and nephews, Donald G. Sapp, Jr., Christa Barker, Arielle Shuttlesworth, Michaela Burbridge, and several great and great great nieces and nephews, three aunts, Elaine Mauller and Tom, Grafton, Mary Weaver, Newburg, and Geraldine Crossland, Balt. Md
Graveside services will held at the WV. National Cemetery, on Friday, November 24, 2017 at a 11:00 AM. with Chaplain Randy Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at the WV. National Cemetery, Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, Amercian Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WVA DAV Chapter 24, and their Auxiliaries, and the Marine Honor Guard.
