Roger Lee Merriman, 73 of Grafton passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Grafton City Hospital. He was born March 28, 1945, in Grafton, son of the late Harvey and Ethel Martin Merriman, was preceded in death by his wife Gloria June Merriman, March 18, 2011
Roger was a familiar face around town , cutting grass doing odd jobs, he loved to visit with people and never meet a stranger, he worked for the City of Grafton, Board of Education and the Saw Mills
He is survived by one daughter, Tina Lee Merriman, Grafton, one brothers, Junior Merriman, and wife Ava,one nephew, Bill Merriman and wife Beverly, three nieces Linda Plum,and husband Ed, Fern Smith, Wanda Wolfe, and husband Charles, one sister-in-law, Eleanor Robinson all of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Merriman, and sister-in-law June Merriman.
A celebration of Roger’s life for family and friends will be at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, WV. on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 3:00PM until time of the service at 5:00PM with Pastor Don Harward officiating. Interment will be at the Knottsville Cemetery.
