Richard Lee Mayle Sr

Richard Lee Mayle, Sr. 73, of Brownton, WV, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Clarksburg, WV, January 23, 1946, a son of the late Leonard and Ruby Titchner Mayle,

He is survived by his wife Violet Mayle of fifty two years; they were married December 5, 1966.

 Richard loved to be outdoors; hunting, fishing, taking walks, and enjoyed being with his family and going to his church Grafton Wesleyan Holiness in Webster. Richard retired from North Central Housing Authority.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Richard Lee Mayle, Jr. and wife Lorrie, Flemington, Samuel Andrew Mayle and wife Betty,  Galloway, Gregory Alan Mayle and wife Wendy, Thornton, Brian Keith Mayle and wife Troyanna , Galloway; ten grandchildren, Shayla, Richard, Carol, Samantha, Corey, Cody, Gregory, Josh, Amanda, and Donovan,  fourteen great grandchildren, Katielynn, Hunter, Taylor, Abigail, Holli, Cameron, Alyssa, Tristan, Grace, Jenny,  Kayleb,Dylan, Bradley, Serenity,   two sisters, Freanie Harris,  Sheila Mayle; three brothers, Charles Mayle and wife Catherine,  Tom Mayle and wife Roxie, Stan Mayle and wife Nora, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by five brothers, Ira Cain, Robert Cain, Duck Mayle, Calvin Mayle, and Timothy Mayle; one sister, Vickie Mayle

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 2-8PM. Funeral services will be conducted-at 11:00 AM. Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Grafton Wesleyan Holiness Church in Webster with the Rev. D.J. Maley officiating. Interment will follow at the West Hill Cemetery Richard will lie in repose at the Church on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 9:00AM to the funeral hour.
