Richard Lee Kraft

Richard “Dick” Lee Kraft, 91 of Knottsville, WV  passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at his home with the Lord holding his hand, devoted wife and family by his side. He was born August 30, 1928, in Grafton to the late William Richard and Jean Irene Gallaher Kraft. He is survived by his wife, Helen Bolyard Kraft they were married July 24, 2006.

Dick was a graduate of Grafton High School Class 1946, member of the Wesley Chapel Church, where he held many offices in the church. He started working for the B&O Railroad in 1946 and retired from CSX in 1986,   as Supervisor Yard Terminal Mech. Dick always had a story to tell and enjoyed his family and many friends, taking trips, enjoyed being outside and looking over the hills of what beauty that the good Lord put there for all to see.

Dick belonged to the Grafton Lodge #15 AF and AM., Taylor County Shrine, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons, Knights Templars, and B.P.O. Elks 3081.

He is survived by two children, Michael C. Kraft, Grafton, Marlene Wenger and Paul, NC  several grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins,

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Rinker Kraft, one son, Richard “Rick” Kraft, one grandson, Patrick Kraft, one sister, Peggy Cox.
