Leanna Dee (Dean) McVicker

Leanna McVicker, 59 of Grafton passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born October 17, 1958 in Grafton, daughter of the late John Dean and is survived by her mother, Sue Moore Dean. Shewas preceded in death by her husband Joseph “Joe” McVicker, August 16, 2016.

She worked at Rosewood, where she was supervisor oft he housekeeping department. She graduated from Grafton High School, Class 1977, and enjoyed reading, shopping and especially enjoyed her family.

Leanna is survived by three children, Jeromy McVicker andMeghan, Grafton, Amanda Kelly and husband Daniel, Centerville, VA, Danielle Boylen andhusband Aaron, Grafton; eight grandchildren, Talerie, Jamen, Cayden, Caitlyn, Brayden, Penelope, Pierce, and Raelynn; two great grandchildren, Suri and La’tasha; two brothers, John Dean and Jimmy Dean, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In addition to her dad and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Poling and niece Heather Poling.

Friends and call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 3-8pm.and on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 9:00am until the funeral hour at 11:30pm with Rev.Garry Whitescarver officiating.
