John Lee Gill Sr, 62 of Shinnston went to be at the Lord on December 30, 2017 from Grafton City Hospital. He was born August 3, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late William Gill and his mother, who survives, Mary Fox of Clarksburg. He last worked as a factory worker at Purdue in the plant in North Carolina. He was a member of Fellowship Mission Church where he loved to play the harmonica. He would testify to everyone about his mighty God. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of ten years, Donna Marie Nichols Gill; six children, Misha Himes and Charles, Fairmont, John L Gill Jr, Salem, David Lynn Gill and Lora, Salem, Amanda Lowe and Donald, Frankfort, OH, Jennifer Parsons, Waynesboro, PA, and Elizabeth Parsons, Mannington; seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren; six siblings, Robert Andrews and Debbie, Salem, David A Gill, Grafton, William “Bill” Gill, Clarksburg, Charles “Chuck” F Gill, Sea Grove, NC, Mary Jane Watson and Joe, West Milford, Thomas Gill, Clarksburg; his four legged friend, Tiny. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Watson. Friends will be received at Fellowship Mission Church, 3733 Webster Pike, Grafton, WV, 26354, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 12noon until time of Funeral services at 2:00PM with Pastor Dolly Smith officiating.
