Florence Mae Patterson

Florence Mae Kelley Patterson, 85 passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 20, 2018. Florence was born October 13, 1932 in Tunnelton, WV to the late Clarence Scott and Viola Beckman Kelley. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church of Grafton, and a member of the Women’s Guild. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Charles Patterson, for 68 years, and adoring mother to Chuck and his wife, Diana; and a loving grandmother to her grandson, Charles. Florence was loved beyond measure by her friends, neighbors and siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings;  Edith Kelley, Glenn Kelley, Merle Kelley Emery, and Gerald Kelley.  She is survived by five sisters, Pearl Kelley Paschke, Ethel Kelley Moore, Bernice Kelley Mankins, Christine Kelley Williams, Dorothy Kelley Williams and one brother, Harlen Kelley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were very fond of her.

Florence enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and loved flowers, especially, daisies; other interests included macrame, needlepoint, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and baking. Private Interment will be in the Bluemont Cemetery.
