Estella Florene (Frederick) Marquess

Estella Florene Marquess, 69 of Thornton passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born October 5, 1948 in Frederick, MD, daughter of the late Frances M and Mary E Riley Frederick. Estella loved all animals and to feed them.  She also enjoyed her plants and crossword puzzles.  Estella is survived by her daughter, Carrie Blevins and husband Rick, Culpeper, VA; two sons, Scott Marquess, Martinsburg, Kenny Marquess and wife Pamela, Martinsburg; four grandchildren, Richard Marquess III, Shannon  Marquess, Miranda Hare, and Morgan Blevins; one sister, Victoria Newlon, Grafton, WV; her companion of twenty years, Doug Reichert, Thornton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Marquess on November 17, 1993. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the WV National Cemetery at 10:00am with Pastor Judy Flynn officiating.  Online condolences can be made at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.com.
