Edith Jo Robinson Foley, 94 of Grafton passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Home Away From Home Assisted Living Facility with family by her side. She was born on February 1, 1925 in Webster, daughter of the late Attie Gilbert “Dick” and Truda Lucie Atha Robinson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty three years, Martin E Foley who passes on November 25, 2000. Edith is survived by two daughters and one son, Jo Ellen Gray, Marietta, OH; Nancy A Pitzer and husband John P Pitzer, James M Foley and Kimberly, Grafton; nine grandchildren,Jodie Ann Gray and Vernon McKnight, Amber L Tabler and Dustin,Casey J Pitzer and Jennifer, Kyle A Pitzer, Zachary J Foley, Joseph M Foley, Michael E Foley, Noah William Foley, and Patrick Wayne Foley; four great grandchildren, Rorie, Grayson, Madilyn and Brea; sister, Dottie Lou Robinson Brown and Phil; Grafton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Riggleman and James; one brother, Gilbert Rex Robinson and Lola and Roberta; son-in-law, Chris Gray; great nephew, Connor Poling. Edith Jo was a 1943 graduate of Grafton High School and attended WV Business College. She retired July 1985 as an Interviewer with eighteen years of service from the WV Department of Employment Security. She worked four years as a clerk for the ASCS office in Taylor County. She was a typist for nineteen years for the Taylor County Sheriff’s office. She was a member and Eucharistus Minister of St Augustine Catholic Church and a member of Epsilon Epsilon Grove 6002 Woodmen of the World in Grafton. She has done volunteer work for American Heart Association, Salvation Army, March of Dimes, also was a 4-H Leader for several years. Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Catholic Funeral Rites will be on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11:00AM with Father Binu Sebastian as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
