Donald Allen Slaton

Donald Allen Slaton, 84 of Grafton passed away at his residence Wednesday, November 27, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Grafton June 20, 1935, a son of the late Robert McKinley and Aretha Cox Slaton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Poling Slaton on September 17, 1999.

He was retired from Rex-Hide. He loved spending time on his farm with his children and grandchildren, being outdoors, and working jigsaw puzzles.

Donald is survived by four children. Donna L Yeager and husband Tim,  Janet Sylva and husband Rick, David Slaton and wife Linda, Kevin Slaton and wife Pam all of Grafton, eleven grandchildren, Donald Stevens, and wife Lorie,  Megan Sylva, Ricky Sylva and wife Michelle, Robert “Robbie” Slaton, and wife Amanda,  Jennifer Pitzer and husband Casey,  Jessica McMasters,  Daniel Sylva and wife Lanessa, Amber Sylva,  Steven Yeager and Jennifer Green,  Kendra Slaton and James Newlon, Kashia Sylva, Nathanial Metz,   and twenty two  great grandchildren, son-in-law, Paul Stevens , Grafton, two sisters, Dorothy Smith, Grafton,  Patricia Tacy , Minerva, OH., two brothers, James Slaton, Minerva, OH. Kenneth Slaton, FL. several nieces and nephews,

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandy Stevens, four sisters, Frances Finley, Katherine Anguish, Helen McDaniel, Shirley Perkins, three brothers Harry Slaton, Paul Slaton, and Robert Slaton.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 3-7 PM and on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 9:00AM until the funeral hour at 11:00AM   with Rev.
