Daniel "Danny" Joe Palmer

Daniel Joe “Danny” Palmer, 52, of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Fairmont April 23, 1967, son of the late James H. Palmer and is survived by his mother, Brenda Floyd Palmer Leighty, Grafton.

Danny enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music, collecting antiques, especially marbles and being with his family and friends. He was a fantastic cook and could make anything.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by eight brothers and sisters, Patricia McCoy and husband Michael, Fairmont, William J. Palmer, Fairmont, Edith Davis and husband Raymond, Fairmont, Terry Palmer, Grafton, Rose E. Meador and husband Michael Grafton Keith Palmer, Grafton Jean Nuzum, Fairmont, Rodney Palmer and wife Melody, Fairmont; two stepbrothers, James T Palmer, Fairmont, Sean Palmer, Tennessee; longtime girlfriend of fourteen years, Vicki Layman, Fairmont, and his beloved Cat Grayson, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Palmer and stepfather, John Leighty.
