Colonel Jacqueline Mason-Swanson age 72, of Lynnwood, WA, formerly of Grafton, passed quietly at home August 10, 2019 after a battle with cancer.
She was born in Grafton, WV on December 23, 1946, daughter of the late Troxell and Ruth (Bolyard) Mason.
Jackie was a graduate of Grafton High School Class of 1965.
She faithfully served her country for 32 years in the U.S. Army, both active and reserves, and worked as a substitute teacher in the Edmonds, WA school district. She was dedicated to her family and church community.
She is survived by her husband David Swanson of 41 years, three daughters, Nancy and husband Justin Evans, Mary Swanson and Patricia Swanson, two granddaughters Molly and Charlotte Evans , one sister, Brooke L. Russell, Grafton, two brothers, Troxell “Olin Mason, Jr. and wife Jaydene, and Holden F. Mason and wife Kelly.
Memorial will be held August 20, 2019 at 11 am at North Creek Presbyterian Church , Mill Creek, WA. she will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
