Chester David Saucer, 70 of Shelby Run Rd, Grafton passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in his home on Shelby Run, Grafton June 1, 1949, son of the late Thomas M. and Mary Nanowsky Saucer.
He was a graduate of Grafton High School, class of 1967. He considered his self an Evangelist. Chester’s life was serving his Lord and Savior, and trying to led people to know the Lord , he visited rest homes, jails, and where ever he could to talk about his Savior. He also did a mail ministry and he loved to pick up people to take them to church.
Chester is survived by two sisters, Alice Walker, Philippi, Donna McCauley and husband Junior, Grafton, one niece, Joyce Tacy and husband Rocky, Grafton, one nephew, Jason Walker and fiancé Kim,
Philippi, three great nephews, Tyler Walker and Jessica, Cody Tacy and Jackie, Justin Tacy and Amber, four great great nieces and nephews, Leighton, Jaylnn, Shayla, and Noah, two brothers-in-laws, Jim Hawkins, and Charlie Walker, one aunt, Sally Morgan, Cleveland, OH. and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Hawkins
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Monday, October 14, 2019, 3-8PM and on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 9:00AM to the funeral hour at 11:00AM with Rev. Mike Flanary and Rev. A.H. Belt officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Par.
