Charles Edward Moore

Charles Edward Moore, 71 of Grafton passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Rosewood Nursing Center. He was born in Grafton, March 14, 1948, son of the late Robert W. Moore.

 Charles was a mechanic, enjoyed auction sales, loved being with people and telling stories. Everyone that knew Charles thought of him as a big jokester, one of his finest attributes was his loving smile.

He is survived by three sisters, Sandy Ross and husband Jerry, Robin McVicker and husband Tim , and Donna Moore, three brothers, James Moore and wife Peggy, Manuel “Teenie” Moore all of Grafton, and Robert Moore, FL.  Fiance’, Wanda Mauller, four children, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by, Aunt Mary Moore, Brother, Allen Moore, Step-Mom, Dorothy Shaffer, Step-Son, Matthew Mauller.

The family would like to thank Rosewood Nursing Center and Amedisys for the wonderful care they gave Charles.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM., Friday, November 8, 2019 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Philippi, WV.
