Betty Lou (Lamm) Poling

Betty Lou Poling, 86 of Grafton passed away at her home with her loving family by her side, Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born March 10, 1932 in Petroleum, Ritchie County, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Nutt Lamm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Poling on April 30, 2010.

Betty enjoyed her family and her many friends. She always had a smile on her face and loved to be outdoors. You could see Betty in the fall making apple butter. She was an aide at Grafton City Hospital, Wallace B Murphy Nursing Home, and VA Hospital in Clarksburg. She last worked at the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center.

She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Gerard and husband Sam, Grafton, Jeanie Goff, Parkersburg, Debra McIntyre, three sons, Steve W. Poling and companion Beverly, Mark Poling and wife Kim, Phil Poling and companion Karey all of Grafton, seventeen grandchildren, Sabrina Poling, Tammy Poling, Stephen Poling,Christopher Poling,Justin Poling,Jason Poling,Renee Poling,Jennifer Jones,Phillip “Shane” Poling,Amber Harrold, Stephanie Harrold,Samantha McDaniel,Lorraine Hershman, Renee Larew, Bernadette McIntyre, Justin McIntyre, James McIntyre; thirty great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; one brother, Bob Lamm, Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Donald Poling, Paul Kevin Poling, and Lynn Poling; one granddaughter, Heather Dawn Poling, two sisters, Alice Ann Lamm, Shelva Jean Lockhart; one brother, Larry Lamm.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 2-8PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Grafton Assembly of God with Pastor Chuck Jeffries officiating. She will lie in repose one hour prior to the service.
