Benjamin A. Cox, 81, of Grafton passed away, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Rosewood Nursing Center. He was born in Barbour County, June 20, 1936, a son of the late Arthur F. and Lula Poling Cox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lough Cox on October 26, 2016
Ben was a truck driver for many years at St. Regis Corp, and W.S. Thomas. Ben enjoyed all kinds of sports, liked going bowling and fishing. Ben was a US Air Force, Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two sons, Chad Cox and wife Debra, Fairmont, Daniel David Cox, Grafton; grandson, Daniel David Cox, II and wife Casey, Grafton; three great grandchildren, Jordan Cox, Acen Cox, and Benjamin Cox.
In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Cox and Edman “Bud” Cox; six sisters, Edna Stevens, Jane Ball, Rachel Cunningham, Helen Poe, Mabel Poe and Rhoda Hendershot.
Private graveside services were held on Monday, February 5. 2018, at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
