Manuel ‘Teenie’ Moore, 71, of Moatsville, WV, took the hand of Jesus and went to his eternal rest on April 24, 2024, after a two-year cancer battle, with his family by his side. He was born April 15, 1953, to the late Robert W. Moore, who he dearly loved and has never forgotten.
Teenie was a retired Coal miner, employed with Martinka Coal Company and Loveridge Coal Mine, both in Fairmont, as well as, a mining company in PA.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and riding horses on trail rides, with family and friends. At one time, he was an avid hunter. Spending time at his cabin and at camp with his friends, was something he enjoyed throughout the spring/summer months.
Surviving him are two daughters, Sandra Payne and his son-in-law, Matt Payne and Brenda Annon; two granddaughters, Casey ‘CJ’ (Sean) Trickett and Jocelyn Annon; one grandson, Grayson Annon; two brothers, James ‘Jim’ (Peggy) Moore, Grafton and Robert Moore, FL; four sisters, Sandy (Jerry) Ross, Flemington, Robin (Tim) McVicker, Grafton, Diane ‘Liz’ Brown, PA and Donna L. Moore, Grafton; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, like family, Vonda and Buffy Moore, Moatsville, Russell Keener, Moatsville and so many others: his beloved cats Smokey and Sheba. He was well-liked by many people and was always helping someone.
Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Dorothy A. Shaffer; two brothers, Charles Moore and Allen Moore, three sisters, Linda Johnson, Delberta Moore and stepsister, Debbie Shaffer Hancovsky.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, W.V., on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM, followed by a graveside service at 1:00PM, at Teenie's final resting place, in the family plot at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Philippi, WV, along- side his loved ones, who passed before him.
