Versel "Dick" Mayle

Versel "Dick" Mayle, 92, of Clemtown passed away Thursday May 19, 2016 at the residence of his daughter Joetta, surrounded by his loving family. He was born at Pritchard, January 13, 1924, son of the late Jared and Viola Mayle. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gladys Gertrude Mayle, June 18, 2014.
He was a logger and construction worker. He enjoyed being on his farm surrounded by his loved ones.
Dick is survived by three children, Judy and Delmas Mayle, Webster, Joetta and Charles Komindo, Pruntytown, and Garry Mayle and Sue, East Canton, OH, seven grandchildren, Greg and Charlene Mayle, Aaron Mayle, Stephanie and Jeremy Beem, Nicholas and Whitney Mayle, Tiffany and Shane Mitchell, Amber Komindo, and Crystal Komindo, nine great grandchildren, Lucas Heitz, Jacob Mayle, Sarah Mayle, Ethan Mayle, Ada Mayle, Frances Beem, Raelynn Mayle, Joelle Mayle, Asa Mayle, Gladys Jo Mitchell; five step-grandchildren, Nathan Himmelrick, Nicole Himmelrick, Brooke Ohler, Ethan Knop, Aaron Knop; one brother, Rev. Winfield and wife Kathleen Mayle, Bruceton Mills; three sisters-in-laws, Debbie Mayle, Massillon, OH, Fern Martin, Brook Park, OH, and Garnet Parsons, Louisville, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Dick was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Mayle, and Luvenia Mayle; one brother, Jerry Mayle.
A special thanks and love to Jo and Charlie for opening up their home to the family which made it so much easier to deal with our grief. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregiver, Beth Kennedy for the past two years, and Taylor County Hospice, especially Amber Wright and Stephanie Hott.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Pritchard Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Mullen, and Rev. Winfield Mayle officiating. Dick will lie in repose at the church two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Pritchard Cemetery.
