Sharon Newcome Trickett, age 70, passed away Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Rosewood Nursing Home in Grafton, WV.
Sharon is survived by one son, Chris Trickett of Cornelius, NC. Two sisters, Barbara Boykie of Clarksburg, WV and Linda Shaw and her husband Will of Beverly, WV. One brother, Joe Newcome and wife Doris of Grafton, WV. She was the daughter of Chester and Helen Newcome of Grafton who preceded her in death.
Sharon was a graduate of Grafton high School and Fairmont State College. She taught in Taylor County, WV and Rockingham County, VA public schools and American National Business College in Harrisonburg, VA. Following her career in education, she was active in retail sales, community service, and restaurant businesses.
At Sharon's request her remains were cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bartlett funeral home is handling the arrangements for the Trickett family.
