Sharon Jo Carnes

Sharon Jo Carnes, 70 of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV with family by her side. She was born March 8, 1947 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Howard Theodore and Kathleen Virginia Barthalow Snider, Sr.
Sharon graduated from West Fairmont High School. She retired from Aegis Communication and she also worked several years at Westinghouse and Fairmont General Hospital. She loved to cook for family, who she adored and loved with all her heart and loved to crochet. Sharon never met a stranger.
She is survived by one son, Joseph "Joe" Snider and wife Lisa, Flemington; three grandchildren, Chad Newbraugh and Ashley, Fairmont, Erin Newbraugh and companion Ricky Cole, Morgantown, Tabetha Snider and companion Stephen Hoskinson, Fairmont; seven great-grandchildren, "RJ" White, Destiny White, Aubrey Newbraugh, Leah Newbraugh, Landon Hoskinson, Colton Newbraugh, Royalty Cole; a very special nephew, Andrew Snider; sister-in-law, Donna Snider, four step children, Melodie Lockhart and Tim, Gary R Yanero and Teresa, Russell Yanero, Laura Moore; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and her very special "Furbabies" TJ and Boo-Kers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Yanero on July 8, 1988, second husband, Harry J. Carnes, April 17, 2016; one brother, Howard T. Snider, Jr.
At Sharon's wishes she will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
