Rose Marie Newby

Rose Marie Newby, 84 of Grafton, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born June 18, 1930 in Grafton, daughter of the late Anthony "Tony" and Geneviene M Adlington Sorbello. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Ward Newby.
Rose graduated from Saint Augustine Catholic High School. She was a seamstress for Newby Upholstery. She loved cooking and antiques and being with her family. She was a lady that could accomplish anything she set her mind to.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, James A Poe and Linda, Anita L Viola and Mike, all of Florida, Anthony Newby and Heather, Grafton; Lisa M Fluharty and Rick, Elkins, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one sister Sylvia Firestine and Ted, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Moran and husband Sonny.
