Ronald Howard Poling

Ronald Howard Poling, 80, of Lucreita Community passed away at Grafton City Hospital Saturday, January 14, 2017, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Grafton May 2, 1936, a son of the late Howard Austin and Mabel Norris Poling. Ron is survived by his wife Martha Ann Morgan Poling, they were married May 19, 1961.
Ron was in the United States Army. He worked for B&O, C&O, Chessie and retired from CSX as a brakeman and conductor. Ron graduated from Grafton High School. Ron enjoyed golfing, bowling and going to his hunting camp. Ron loved to be with his family and friends, and never meet a stranger. He was a member Grafton Masonic Lodge #15 AF & AM and attended the Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
Ron is survived by two children, Eddie Morgan and wife Nancy, Syble Corio and husband John all of Grafton; four grandchildren, Natalie Pagliughi and husband Dustin, Breanna Collins and husband Andy, Corrine Corio and Frederique Maloley; one brother, Fred Poling and wife Connie, Fairmont, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Wednesday January 18, 2017 from 3-8PM and on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 9 until time of funeral service at 11:00AM with Rev. Mike Dellagatti officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery, Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WVA DAV Chapter 24, and their Auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson.
