Phyllis Anne Coffman

Phyllis Anne Coffman, 65 of Grafton passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Mon General Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Grafton, April 4, 1949 in Grafton, daughter of the late, Estell Lee "Pete" Cochran and Betty Mae Brown Cochran Hawkins. Phyllis graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1967. She also graduated from Clarksburg Beauty Academy, WV Business College and attended Fairmont State. Phyllis was a program specialist at the WV Department of Corrections for fourteen years. Phyllis liked crafts, flowers, reading, traveling, playing the paino, singing in the choir and the beach. She is survived by her husband Thomas R Coffman whom she married in September 8, 1978; one daughter, Carlee B Stemple, Californa, MD; three grandchildren, Cami B Stemple, Kolt A McIe, and Leilah R McIe; stepmother, Deborah Cochran, Thornton; siblings, Deborah L DePolo, Grafton, Jeffrey L Cochran and Dorothy, Plantation, FL, Joshua Cochran and Amanda, West Union, David Haddix, Thornton; special friends, Mary Estel and Sheila Swick; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea L Coffman in February 8, 2014.
