Naomi Ruth Mooney

Naomi Ruth Mooney, 85, of Grafton, passed away, Monday, December 26, 2016 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born in Grafton March 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Henry and Nettie Moyer Anderson. Her husband George E. Mooney, preceded her death May 12, 2000.
Ruth, was a great CNA worked at Grafton City Hospital for over thirty years, Was a member of the VFW Ladies Aux., loved to camp and was an avid fan of WVU Basketball.
She is survived by; Rhonda Boyce, whom she raised and Tee Cochran, grandchildren; Benji Mooney and wife Nikki, Jason Mooney, Brian Mooney, Timmy Mooney, Michael Mooney, Josh Mooney, Chris Mooney, J.R. Mooney, Jeremy Mooney, Erin Mooney, Keith Leach and wife Tosha, Andy Leach and wife Megan, Sam Leach and wife Carrie, Kelsie Ford and husband Donnie. Sister-in-law, Darla Sevier and husband David Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by, three sons, Allen, Henry and Richard Mooney, two daughters, Karen Sue Mitchell and Janice "DeeDee" Mooney, five sisters, Mildred "Sis" Webb, Vera Thompson, Edna Young, Beulah Leggett, and Mary Cooper, three brothers, Denzil "Dick" Anderson, Henry Anderson, Jr. and James Anderson.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 1-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Bartlett Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Rosenberger, officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery.
