Naomi "Jean" Catania

Naomi "Jean" Catania, 82, Rt. 3 Grafton, (Haymond Community), passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nicholas County, WV, April 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Cecil Sheridan and Glena Jane Russell Luckey.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan Luckey and David Luckey.
Jean enjoyed being with her family and especially her grandchildren. She liked to read, cook, and work in the flower and vegetable garden. She retired from Krogers. Jean was member of the McConkey Chapel, on Cherry Run.
Surviving are three children, Cathy J. Soles and husband Steven, Point Marion, PA., Debbie L. Wetzel and husband Jeffrey, Clarksburg, WV. Charles C. "Chuck" Catania, Grafton; six grandchildren, Anthony Soles, Christina Soles, Jeffrey "Jay" Wetzel, Shawn Wetzel, Kimberly McCartney, Joshua McCartney; eight great grandchildren, Zacharey, Tristin, Anthony, Ava, Alivia, Janessa, Abby, and Tanner; one brother, Cordell D Luckey, Stonewood, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 1-9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 15, 2014 with Rev. Richard McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
