Myron "Pete" Pederson

Myron Dennis "Pete" Pederson, 78, of Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, December27, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in White Earth, Minnesota, a son of the late Martin and Florence Pederson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, JoAnn Lambert Pederson.
Pete was in the US Army and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Drove truck for thirty one years, for Cook Motor Lines, and retired from ABF Freight. He belonged to the Teamsters Union 175, Bridgeport American Legion. He loved to hunt and fish and especially going to Minnesota on fishing trips with his sons. He enjoyed going to the gun bashes.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dennis Pederson, Grafton, Greg Pederson, Texas; one daughter, Becky Clyne and husband Tim, West Union; one granddaughter, Jessica Stumpf and husband Ed, Richmond, VA; one brother, Alan Pederson, and one sister, Cheryl Kjos both of Minnesota, and his faithful companion Ace, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, one son, Michael W. Pederson; one grandson, Steven Knotts.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Bartlett Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Keener officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post 3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, Central WVA DAVA Chapter 24, and their Auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson.
