Kenneth Ray Keener

Kenneth Ray Keener, 82 of Grafton passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Wallace B Murphy Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 3, 1932 in Taylor County, a son of the late Arthur and Sarah Catherine Frye Keener.
He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to gospel music
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Helen Marlene Heavner Keener, they were married September 26, 1981.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three step sons, Gregory Burton, Flemington, Eric Burton, Moundsville, Daniel Burton, Grafton and nine step grandchildren, William, Wesley, Makayla, Brandon, Shane, Eric II, Desiree, Daniel Jr, Randilynn; two step great grandchildren, Zoey and Braydon; one brother Donald Keener, Grafton.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mary Jo Shultz, Dorwood Keener, Ruth Keener, Charles Keener, and Ethel Marie Keener; one step great grandchild, Brooklyn
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 10-11AM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, September 18, 2014 with Lay Minister Jimmy Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post #12, central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their auxiliaries and the WV Army National Honor Guard of Camp Dawson.
