Jonetta Elizabeth Moore

Jonetta Elizabeth Moore, age 77, of Emery Street, Grafton, went to spend her eternal life with the Lord, Thursday, April 03, 2014, at the home of Donna and Lonnie Mayle, surrounded by her family. She was born in Grafton, WV, December 27, 1936, a daughter of the late George and Edith Virginia (Rogers) Seargeant. She was raised by the late Dorsey H. and Mary B. Isner. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 57 years, Daniel Nelson Moore, on November 13, 2013. They were married May 12, 1956.
Jonetta was a 1955 graduate of Grafton High School. She was a beloved mother, and grandmother, who cherished her children and grandchildren. She was very musically talented and played many instruments. She enjoyed traveling, trips to the beach, evenings at Tygart Lake, bird watching, and photography. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grafton, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #3081.
Surviving are: three daughters, Brenda Kay Rosier, of Grafton, Debora Ann Kerns and husband Richard Kerns, of Coolville, OH, and Pamala Renay Watkins, of Grafton; two grandsons, Joshua Aaron Rosier and wife Emily, of Philippi, and Gavin Michael Watkins, of Grafton; one great grandson, Noah Aaron Rosier; one great granddaughter, Willow Joan Rosier; one sister Nancy Poling and husband Billy, of Grafton; two brothers-in-law, John Terrance "Terry" Moore, of Grafton, and William Fredrick "Bill" Moore and wife Linda, of Morgantown; one sister-in-law, Patricia "Patty" Koton, of Grafton; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including one cousin who was very dear to her, Gloria "Corkie" Lucas.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard "Bernard" Seargeant, and Randy Seargeant.
The Moore family will receive friends at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Sunday, April 6, 2014, from 2 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 7, 2014, at the funeral home, with Pastor Orville Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery.
