Harley David Spotloe

Harley David Spotloe, 82 of Grafton passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 26, 1932, son of the late Michael Sr. and Jane (Dobson) Spotloe. David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Kerns Spotloe, whom he married on January 4, 1955; one son, David "Mike" Spotloe and wife Karen of Simpson; one daughter, Kimberly Henderson and husband Doug of Philippi; grandchildren John "Eric" Cutright and Ashley, Karen Sell and Jeremy, Kristin Hodge and Matt, Amy Gregory and Jack, Tricia Poling and Ben, David "Mikey" Spotloe; seven great grandchildren, Maggie, Jackson, Landon, Kimberly, Jason, Morgan, and Gabriella; two sisters, Cathryn Maxson of Century, and Pauline Prutsok of Summersville; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. David worked at Pittston Coal as a Forman at the Philippi Mine. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked at Dan's Marine Service which was some of the happiest years of his life. He enjoyed his family, playing his guitar and listening to music. Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 10:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend David Maley officiating.
