Hadley Junior Wyckoff, age 81, of Pearl Street, Grafton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 14, 1932, in Taylor County, a son of the late Hadley Enoch Wyckoff and Alice Clair (Waller) Wyckoff.
Mr. Wyckoff was a graduate of Simpson High School. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army. He was retired from the Port Orchard Ship Yard in Washington state where he worked as a welding engineer.
Surviving are: one daughter, Teresa Nelson and husband Tim, of Belfair, Washington; two granddaughters, Anna Nelson and Kristina Nelson, both of Belfair, Washington; one sister, JoAnna Streets and husband Murl, of Grafton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was in death by two brothers, James and Donald Wyckoff.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m, Friday, March 14, 2014, at the WV National Cemetery, with Chaplain Randy Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemtery.
Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post # 12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their auxiliaries, and the WV Army National Guard of Camp Dawson.
