Genevie Bernice Moran

Genevie Bernice Moran, 96, of Grafton passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born June 16, 1918, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Ernie and Lily Martin Griffith. Her husband, Joseph Wallis Moran preceded her death on June 10, 1997.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Gerald Griffith, Dana Griffith, Raymond Griffith, and Delcie McKinney.
She was a member of the First Baptist of Grafton and was a seamstress for the Shirt Factory in Grafton. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Socializing at the beauty shop.
Genevie is survived by three children, Joseph and Donna Moran, Carl and Doris Moran, and Charlotte and Glenn McCartney all of Grafton; six grandchildren, Kim and Jim Twyman, Bobby and Chris Jones, Jeff and Rhonda Moran, Joe and Chrissy Moran, Cristal and Brian Shumaker, Jackie and Greg Gregory; ten great grandchildren, Mallory, Jess, Zachary, Sarah, Ethan, Shane, Alex, Emily, Sophia, and Maggie; and one great great grandson, Hudson.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 with Rev. Orville Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
