Freda Ann "Shorty" McCloy

Freda "Shorty" Ann McCloy, 64, of Simpson, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Elkins Hospice Care Home. She went to be with the Lord and her loved ones. She was born February 25, 1949 in Simpson, daughter of the late David Rzona Duley and Edna Peters Knotts, and she is survived by her loving Companion Jack Charlton, Simpson.
Freda was a homemaker and will be missed by her many family members and friends across nation. She will be dearly missed by her pets, and she was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church.
Freda is survived by her children, James, Thomas, Tracey and Carolyn Kosan, three step-children, Jack Wyatt and Tammy, Debra Sue Hemmrick and husband Tim, Jackie Lee Charlton II, and grandchildren, five sisters, Bessie Delapas, Linda Knotts, Cathy Jones-Smith, Juanita Sue Gorby and husband Jeff, Anna Duley, three brothers, Cyrus "Junior" Jones and partner Holley, James "Doc" Duley and wife Jaquie and Thomas Duley and wife Carolyn, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ervin Knotts, step-mothers, Annie Duley and Delma Duley, two sisters, Daisy Norris and Rose Schaeffer, five brothers, Edward Jones, William "Billy" Jones, Jim "Smitty" Smith, Howard Jones, and David "Red" Duley.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Peters officiating. Interment will follow at the Simpson Cemetery.
